I recently worked with the Multimedia sound artist & composer, Alexandra Bell, on a new website to showcase her sounds, composed music, moving images, sculptures, writing and performances.

She told me she had chosen to work with me as I offer “an unusual mix of technical web skills along with an understanding of the artist’s perspective” having trained as an artist myself and that she was “a little nervous about the investment, but it’s definitely been value for money and I am getting super feedback.”

Please read her full testimonial below and then head over to her gorgeous new website, which is bursting with sound, film and imagery. An audiovisual treat!

I worked with Julia to develop my existing website from a clunky, amateur site into a professional, credible online presence. I chose Julia to help because she offers an unusual mix of technical web skills along with an understanding of the artist’s perspective. I was also impressed by other great websites she’d developed. The process was seamless and organised, with work planned over a series of weeks such that I never felt overwhelmed technically or with content delivery. It also meant that there was iterative flexibility, with time to think and evolve the look gradually. With her artist’s eye, Julia was also able to propose positive aesthetic changes which I would have missed! The training packages are a great way to start learning more about my own site management, and it’s also good to have a support package available. I was a little nervous about the investment, but it’s definitely been value for money and I am getting super feedback. Thanks again Julia!
